Create your Own Epiphany!

EPIPHANEIA is more than an album; it is a progression of emotions and states of mind. There is nothing static in the compositions. Everything is fluid and dynamic. It is a journey from one point to another. The emotional setting is created for you. However, enough ambiguity is allowed in the mood, melody and tempo for the listener to have an active role in the creative process.

In this album, it is the soundscapes I've created that will guide you in the generation your own scenery, characters, and story. I composed these tracks in a way that you can create your own interpretations. Think of each track as a “chapter” within a “book.” In EPIPHANEIA, you’ll discover an endless array of revelations.

How does it work?

EPIPHANEIA uses sound frequencies and repetitive musical patterns which are embedded into the music as emotion. This activates the creative side of your brain. Then, each sound is placed in a three dimensional environment, so each ear receives different information.

The human brain is composed of two separate hemispheres that work together.* The three dimensional sound patterns allow each hemisphere to receive different sets of information. This allows them to operate freely and independently. As a result your brain should feel more relaxed. This is due to the fact that the two hemispheres no longer need to be in a perfect synchronization. Instead, the music now acts as a constant link between both.

Instructions

• Try to relax yourself both physically and mentally. 
• Let the music flow through you freely. Do not focus on it or analyze it. 
• Use a good set of headphones so you won't be distracted by outside noises.
• Avoid watching the TV or your computer screen. Close your eyes or use a blank wall.
• The volume should be high enough so you don't hear anything else.

What Might I Experience?

You might experience a lucid dream, feel nostalgic, or reminisce about your past. You could also simply feel good and relaxed. There's an endless array of possible experiences.
